I just want to add that for some reason this comic makes the vowels ㅔ and ㅐ somewhat more confusing than they really are. There is very little functional difference between the two. Simply, they’re both pronounced like ‘e’ as in ‘beg’ or ‘end’ or whatever. Technically there is a difference (ㅐ is “longer”), but you don’t hear it in day-to-day speech. So anyway, instead of the typical English pronunciation of Batman with that English ‘a’ vowel, we would say it more like ‘Bet-men’ (…and technically-technically, the ‘t’ is aspirated so it has its own syllable: 배트맨).
