What states want is more important than how powerful they are, and it is the question of state intentions, and how they view their own position in the world and their relationship to their neighbors, that will ultimately determine whether Northeast Asia continues to move towards stability or slides into instability.

David Kang, no offense, but how does anyone take you seriously?  You’re such a constructivist.  Is life hard for you?  Do the other theorists pick on you because you’re just a bit “different”?

Did power games never really interest you as a kid?  Did the idea of a zero-sum game never quite feel as comfortable to you as it did to people like Mearsheimer?  Were you always more interested in a states’ feelings and ideals and morals?

It’s okay, you’re not alone.  Probably.  I don’t know.  You could hang out with Wendt, but he’s kind of… wishy-washy.
